Heading Home

Tonight at 9:30, after leading Bible studies for the girls and guys in the youth group, Natalie and I will begin the long trek to Tulsa for the International Soul Winning Workshop. It is going to be a chance for some 'continuing ed', a much needed break from my work here, and to find rest and rejuvenation in the presence of some of those who are closest to us. Not only will I be at home, wee will also get to spend some time sharing meals and Java with some of our dearest friends and mentors from Abilene. Even though I love what I am doing here in Lake O, I know that this is a much needed retreat to the mountain, heading away from the crowds and to sit in the presence of those who know us intimately and love us relentlessly. Pray for us on our journey.
