Father's Day

Alright, I know that in the eyes of some I am an imposter. My first born has not, in fact, been born. So, yesterday, the jury was still out on whether or not I should be considered a "father" on Father's Day. (I got several "Just think; this time next year you'll be a card carrying member!" type comments at LOCC.)

Well, luckily my bride and mother of my sweet baby girl wasn't wavering. She surprised me with one of the best gifts a dad in process could possibly get, especially at this time in the four year cycle!

Feast your eyes on the little ball that my daughter and I will get to kick around in the yard!
I am SO excited. I can only imagine teaching her to deftly pass the ball, to juggle effortlessly, to Cruyff turn, to .... Alright, I better stop or I'll be day dreaming all afternoon about playing the world's game with my little girl.

Twenty-four weeks tomorrow!
