Promoting Marriage to Reduce Poverty is an interesting little piece at NPR today. It is the latest in a great series on Figthing Poverty in America. (I also really liked this piece: A Jobs Program with a Spiritual Twist.) Is there a way that our churches can join in these efforts to become harbingers of God's new creation in our societies? How could we nurutre our spiritual and missional imaginations to envision the kingdom of God in ways that cares for and addresses these needs?
