Celebrating My Past Life

Today is Mole Day. That's right. Chemistry-phobic readers, beware! Today is the annual celebration of the number we chem geeks use to calculate the mass of atoms, 6.022 x 10^23. What a joyful reminder of my past life! I have plugged that number into so many equations and formulas in my short life that it is etched in my memory.

The festivities today start at 6:02 a.m. and end at 6:02 p.m., so run, don't walk to a high school, college, or lab near you! (Okay, that might be going a little overboard.)

If you are as nerdy as me, you might enjoy this little piece from All Things Considered on NPR.

Really, man, who are you kidding?

Besides, that dependent clause should read, "If you are as nerdy as I. . . "

I propose "National Sentence Diagraming Week" for people as nerdy as I.
