Here is a short list of the rules on the coach's contract for team members:
If you want to be a Fugee, you have to follow the rules:
- I will have good behavior on and off the field.
- I will not smoke.
- I will not do drugs.
- I will not drink alcohol.
- I will not wear earrings or big jewelry.
- I will not wear pants that fall down.
- I will not get anyone pregnant.
- I will not use bad language.
- My hair will be shorter than coach's.

If only they could enforce this list of rules to all students in every high school...
Service today was excellent. Thank you for sharing from Ann Lamott. I'd never read any of her books and I think I will go out this week to pick one up, her words rung a particular cord in my soul. Many similarities in our lives it seems.
Thank you.
Thanks, Kirsten. I appreciate it.
I think that I've got Lamott's Traveling Mercies listed on my current reads on the front page of the blog I tend to find myself going back to read her, so she just stays on the list. Just a word of warning, I was serious when I said that she is raw. She loves colorful language and shock value. That is one reason I love her. But, I feel it's only right for me to warn you! I think you'll really like her thoughts. I'd love to hear what you think once you get reading her.
It's been good to see you and N at LO pretty regularly lately. I'd love to talk to y'all about life, faith, and church sometime, especially in light of a recent blog post you wrote.
